Honey Mustard Tahini Dressing

Honey Mustard Tahini Dressing or Dip is a healthy spin on a classic dipping sauce and dressing.

Tahini is a rich, nutty paste made from sesame seeds. It is the perfect canvas to add as much flavor as you like, plus the texture is rich and creamy.

Have you ever dipped a french fry into ranch or honey mustard dressing? This is basically the same thing, minus all the weird stuff that’s in traditional honey mustard sauce.

You’ll be so glad you learned how to make this copy cat, but better, sweet potato fries and honey mustard dipping sauce.

  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons raw honey
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • pinch black pepper
  • pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

Sweet Potato Fries

  • 4-5 small to medium sweet potatoes peeled
  • large pinch sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
  • pinch ground black pepper


  • Add tahini, mustard, raw honey, and water to a small bowl.
  • Mix the ingredients together with a whisk or a rubber spatula.
  • Add the turmeric, salt and pepper, and mix well.
  • Drizzle over or dip your favorite raw or cooked veggie or dress your favorite salad.

Roasted Sweet Potato Fries

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Cut your sweet potatoes length wise into 1 inch strips. So they resemble "fries."
  • Spread the sweet potato fries evenly on a large sheet pan.
  • Drizzle the fries with the oil and sprinkle on the salt and pepper.
  • Place the fries in the oven and roast for 25 minutes. Then rotate the pan and shift the potatos around on the pan.
    Place back in the oven for another 25 minutes.
  • Once soft and crisp, remove from the oven and serve immediately with Honey Mustard Tahini Dip
